Beautiful Backplate
This is the type of old hardware we all nerd out and swoon over. Plate is from the very early 1900’s and is Rococo style. When looking for information on this backplate we found one almost identical that came from the Plaza Hotel. Obviously, we can't confirm this piece came from the Plaza, this plate did come in a big buy from the North East.
When you turn the latch to lock it, it displays “BOLTED” and the key hole has a very small hinged door. It's just so so cool
