Antique Arched Window in Frame
We debated taking this window out of its frame due to the fact the arched window is in phenomenal shape but the bottom rail of the lower sashe has fallen off due to weather damage. We decided it was best to leave it as is for a multitude of reasons, the biggest of which is that arch frames are not easy to build. The frame could be trimmed down to just fit the arched window and be made into a stationary window. Additionally, the bottom sashe can be restored by a decent woodworker. The arched window has wavy glass.
This window with frame 33.25” x 80.25” tall x 6.25” thick
Top sashe is 30” wide x 45.75” long
