Antique Walnut Buffet
This piece has been fully refinished by yours truly. Did I intend to refinish it? No, the the top was painted and it annoyed me. Somehow, that annoyance led to sanding the entire thing down, cleaning up the hardware and fixing a few issues. I left the original green felting in the silverware drawer (no we do not have the key) and used leftover peel and stick wallpaper for the other drawers. I am my biggest critic and I rate this as a B- job. My mother and Gaia think I did a really good job, so we shall split the difference and call it a B+ refinish. I did not do a coat of poly because I did not want to, but if you buy this piece you can-I won’t be offended. The drawer and door fronts are veneer. Buffet is 53” x 22.75” x 37” tall
