It is so much easier to identify rugs when they have a sticker on the back. Typically, when they don’t have a sticker, it either means the sticker fell off or it’s very high end. In this rugs case, I’m going with high end. My best guess is it Turkish and handmade. Google reverse image agrees with that assessment. It pulled several rugs with similar patterns in the $4500 range. All I really know is it is very pretty and probably could benefit from a rug pad. It smells musty and as with all used rugs, you should have it cleaned.
