J.G. Braun brass handrail. This thing is old and very stout. At some point in its journey, someone cut it into two sections. It could be welded back together, installed as is or used as two separate rails. the longer section has two wall attachments and is the base piece. The smaller section has one wall attachment piece and was originally the top piece. The rail itself is 1 7/8” around.
